Children of Rosehaven is a wonderful story written by Christopher St. John Sampayo, playwright and up-and-coming new novelist. The story-line and characters make it hard to believe this is his first published novel, while suggesting it most certainly won't be the last. Right from the beginning, the Prologue grabs the reader's attention and starts you off on your journey to unearth the secrets hidden in Rosehaven. The story has a wonderful build-up and touches on all notes and emotions, making it a very enjoyable read and one that is hard to put down. I absolutely recommend it to others!Product details

Haunting of Rosehaven edition by Christopher St John Sampayo J Ellington Ashton Children eBooks Reviews
A brilliant 'ghost story'! I loved reading it. I thought the story unfolded rather well and I was very pleased with it. I would recommend it to the younger teenage audience as well.
I like the idea this book brings and the direction it is going. It kept my interest and kept me guessing what might happen next. A few minor editing issues were there, but nothing critical (kindle edition). To be truthful it could have a little more details on a few things, but that's me. I would recommend this book and look forward to reading more by him.
A real page turner. I finish this book in two days! I just couldn't put it down! Amazing Job!
After reading all the five-star reviews, I was very disappointed to discover that the first two chapters of the book were poorly written with errors in grammar and punctuation. There were also typos, but they were minor in comparison to other issues. Good writing has a smooth flow, and there were too many instances where the flow was anything but smooth. There were many examples of sentences needing a comma, and commas used where they did not belong. Some paragraphs were poorly constructed with repetitive thoughts. Too many sentences with unnecessary words or phrases. I could keep going, but I won't. I rarely write reviews, and I wouldn't have written this one, but I didn't want anyone else to assume that this book really deserves five stars.
I thought Children of Rosehaven was great, refreshing story! I loved the hometown feel mixed with the haunting of its past. It was great. I can see more novels branching off based on the other characters. I hope this is book one of a future series. I highly recommend this book!
This is one great writer and a very creepy book. Read it with the lights on ! His next book is even better ! In Children of Rosehaven the writer takess you to small town america where everyone knows everyone and friday night football is king. Its a ride down memory lane and while youre reading it, it will remind of growing up . But...there is a twist in the small Louisiana town of Rosehaven which will send chills down your spine. This is a true urban legend as well. 5 stars for this book and author!
A teenage boy moves to a small town and learns the secrets that are hidden within Rosehaven. I was hooked from the first chapter.
